Y-90

A beta emitter, Y-90 is used to deliver localized radiation internally for the treatment of cancer. When bound to a targeting agent or device, Y-90 can effectively destroy cancer cells while minimizing damage to healthy tissue. MDS Nordion has developed proprietary processes to ensure high-chemical purity for successfully labeling Y-90 to a wide range of agents.
